Peanut-Free Peanut Sauce

Here’s my take on peanut sauce but without using peanuts.  Once again, this stuff is great on everything.  I use it as a salad dressing, veggie dip, in stir-fry, on a Banh Mi sandwich or as a condiment.  It’s so good you’ll want to rub it in your hair.

My take on peanut sauce but using lower allergen ingredients like almonds and tamari. Best of all it's easy to whip up and you probably have most ingredients in your kitchen now.
Serves: 4
  • ½ cup Organic Raw Crunchy Almond Butter
  • ¼ cup Organic Low Sodium Tamari
  • ¼ cup Organic Lime Juice
  • ¼ cup Organic Rice Wine Vinegar
  • ⅛ teaspoon Grated Organic Ginger
  • Optional: You can add a few drops of toasted sesame oil too
  1. Measure everything out and put it into a medium size glass bowl
  2. Use a spoon to start to mix the ingredients together - it takes a while to get everything to incorporate
  3. Once things are starting to meld, use a stainless steel whisk to smooth out the sauce
  4. Do no use a blender or food processor - you want the crunchy texture from the almond butter
  5. Pour the dressing into a glass jar and pop it into the fridge
  6. Enjoy!

  • Oh my. That looks so delicious, I want to jump right through the screen and grab it. Fab fab fab!…. and the colours. Oh la la!
