I’m back in the saddle again. Out where a friend is a friend. Where the longhorn cattle feed. On the lowly jimsonweed. Back in the saddle again. I’m on the mend from being sick for over a year and I’m ready to start writing on a regular basis. Doctors, naturopaths, nutritionists, specialists and surgery – oh my. It’s been a long journey but I’m starting to feel myself again. My amazing husband, family, friends, employers and fellow waiting room patients have all been a big support through the storm and I’m eternally grateful.
Here’s to brushing the cobwebs out of the virtual typewriter keys in my head. Here’s to writing with passion and not getting caught up in trying to make each post perfect – cause perfect just ain’t gonna happen. I keep telling myself…
I won’t get caught up in the details and make everything more complicated than it needs to be. I will chill out. Even Calvin the Wonder Dog says I should.
And I think it’s finally time I posted a picture of myself on the blog – I’m pretty sure there isn’t one on the site. Let’s call this my coming out #selfie ;) Yup, that’s me.
Stay tuned for my Blog Tour post next week where I’ll be writing about my writing process. Seems like a timely topic.
Whoopi-ty-aye-oh. Rockin’ to and fro. Back in the saddle again. Whoopi-ty-aye-yay. I go my way. Back in the saddle again.
