How Stuff Works: Organic Food Prices

Muddy-hands
This is a brief and  interesting article from the Seattle Times Newspaper.  It provides a pretty good explaination of why organic produce costs more.

Earlier this year a friend and I went on a fall fair tour and while on our journey, we discovered a roadside organic produce stand.  We drove up to the barn and chatted with the owner (a school teacher from Hamilton who was starting up his retirement business).  He shared fresh organic edamame beans with us and pretty much the same story as this newspaper article.
